Skyguide not only monitors Swiss airspace and keeps it safe: the Swiss air navigation service provider is also an innovation leader in various technologies and projects related to aviation safety. For example, the merging of the various control centers into a single, "virtual" center or a new type of drone for automatic measurements of the radio equipment guiding airplanes.
The challenge was that the various animation projects were not only aimed at a specialist audience, but also at people from outside the field. We therefore used a simplified style and relied heavily on three-dimensionality in order to do justice to the processes of air traffic, which of course also take place in three dimensions.
